Only Echoes is a 5-piece Instrumental Metal Band from Denver, Colorado. Shortly after forming in 2018, they released their self-titled EP and set a tonal precedent: monumental riffs interlaced with ethereal atmospheres. While preparing their first full-length in early 2020, The Great Pause allowed for further refinement of the band’s sound, alternating between beautiful clean passages and crushing waves of sound. What came next was “Sunsickness” and LP of intricately layered guitars, clean ambience and melodic solos but also self-knowledge that never strays to far from Only Echoes’ uncompromising heaviness.
