My buddy’s older brother, who, admittedly, is an acid case and also somewhat of a klepto, swears up and down he saw Dick Dale open for Chrome back in the day. Now, I’ll gladly drink his warmed over Early Times and completely, without judgement, eat the flavorless burgers he makes on the summer days when we hang out, but my own grasp of music history says this is next to impossible. All that being said, Heet Deth must have heard the cosmic call of that story and decided to answer with a disembodied reconfiguration of that very idea. Scorched out shit rock that will make you party for days, or until you hallucinate Janis Joplin collabing with the Butthole Surfers.
